Welcome to new parents and carers
This guide is intended to give both you and your child a very brief
idea of some of the rules and procedures at Wellsway.
Safeguarding This provides a "one stop shop" for information about
how we look after the safety of your children whilst in our care.
It also includes a new guide to give parents some information about how
Wellsway meets our safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
We have also included some tips to help you to keep your child safe.
Applying for Free School Meals Parents/Carers should be aware of the possibility of
applying for a free school meal for your child/children. Use this
page to find out how to claim.
Data
Collection Sheet Parents/carers should use this to inform school of
changes to their child's personal data and contact information. A
completed form is sent home by the school each year for amendment, but
parents/carers may use this form to inform school of changes at other
times of the year.
Essential
Medical Information forms For various trips, especially those involving an
overnight stay away from home, the school requires parents or carers to
complete an Essential Medical Information form. This form will be
given to parents via their children as appropriate.
Family Holidays in Term Time Advice from the local authority, Bath and North East
Somerset, for parents considering a family holiday during term-time.
Parent Support Advisor Introduction to and contact details for Judy Crook,
the PSA for the Keynsham Area Schools' Cluster.

safety, advice for parents and learners and a database of local
organisations for young people.
