The school's own archive has proved to be a rich source for photographs, newspaper articles and other information.

However, the unexpected gems have sometimes come from people's private collections.  We would like to thank all those who have contributed their time and material to this project.

In particular, we would like to express our great thanks to Mrs Joan Ellison who has been of invaluable assistance, in providing photographs, identifying faces and cajoling other former teachers into supplying material.
