Angela Oldfield (27/12/2005)

I have just spent an hour of valuable work time surfing the Wellsway School Website. I loved it!  I am an ex-Keynsham Grammar School student but return to Keynsham where my family still lives. Every time I drive past I relive the truly great time I had at the school and I marvel at the playing fields! I can honestly say I loved every experience at the school from hockey and tennis teams, to the Parnassus Sixth Form centre (1969) , to the plays, the orchestra, the first school cruise to Madeira, Tangier and Lisbon, the parties…. oh and the education which gave me the life I have now. Your website gave me the opportunity to see old faces and friends.

The progress of the school is something I enjoy hearing about from friends whose sons still attend the school – and deep down I still like to think there is a bit of me in your corridors, as surely there is a strong line of KGS in me! Once again thanks to your team for keeping such a great site! Long may the school’s success continue.
Alison Wiltshire (12/3/2005)

If anyone out there attended these years please get in touch.

I am one of four Seymours who attended Wellsway School in the 1980s: Amanda, Paul and Jane (deceased) were the others. I used to play rugby, cricket, basketball, and football for the school at all age levels and competed in Athletics and cross country, both for the school and county at age 16 and 17. I also played rugby for Keynsham, Bath U21s, Somerset and South West England Colts, as well as two try outs for England U19s.

Now working in Alabama, USA, I send my regards to all at Wellsway, past, present and future. It's a great school, and your newsletter just underlines how good an education, the school provides. Keep it up and Good Wishes to All

So who expected to be where they are now, back in '96? I know I didn't; it's worked out better than I could have imagined back then! If you're about, get in touch!

Just to say thanks to Mr Hiscox, our English Teacher, and to Miss Webster, our Gym and Games teacher. I was one of the girls who preferred sport to studying for O Levels!! Also to Miss Band, our Domestic Science teacher, and all the other teachers who remember me. I am fine, happy and playing golf; a bit too stiff for gymnastics!!

I have found a few of the people I used to know I was in Barry Oakes' tutor group.  For the most of the time I live in Egypt now and come back to Brighton for the summer as it's too hot out here.  I recognise some names but know there must be more. Get in touch if you remember me!!

Hello! I used to go to Wellsway but left in 2001 when I finished Year 9 to study at King Edwards School (in Bath).  I am missing the great sporting activities held at Wellsway and it is good to read that the Year 10 team is now winning after two years!!  Hope to meet up with friends and teachers soon.

Hey Wellsway!  This is Katie Prentice.  I left Wellsway in year 8 and now I am in Australia.  I am just writing a message to say hello and that I miss you all very much, and to all the teachers: sorry for being a pain.  I have changed a lot since I have been here and now have realised right from wrong!  Well better be off now.  Hello Mr Kent and Miss Andrews!
